AU Medicare Provider Number [FMM Level 0]

This identifier profile defines a Medicare Provider Number[1] [2] in an Australian context. A Medicare provider number is assigned by Services Australia to practitioners who provide services covered by Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) to patients. The Medicare provider number identifies the location from which a service is provided.
