We are currently working on a value set for medication container types. We have proposed that the concepts are AMT container types (sourced from the AMT qualifier hierarchy),

and will be developing a reference set as one does not currently exist. I would like to understand whether there are any issues with excluding non-AMT container concepts from this value set?

A similar approach was taken with medication dose form, however it has since been suggested that both AMT and SNOMED dose form concepts should be included.

Noting that previously a SNOMED dose form reference set was utilised in bindings, and this will be expanded with the AMT forms.

• Terminology - 
  • Container Types - agreed AMT rather than including SNOMED CT; R4 Medication does not have a slot for container type -  raise this in chat; don't want to use Medication.form for container type; extension?
  • Dose Form - agreed AMT rather than including SNOMED CT bind to Medication.form
