Agenda:
- https://github.com/hl7au/au-fhir-base/issues/478 - looking at Address identifier extension
- https://github.com/hl7au/au-fhir-base/issues/493 - naming issue with prescriber number
- RE: NCTS rendering changes for referenced ValueSet and CodeSystems
- JD: PD to Address country
Minutes:
- Address Identifier
- Propose to international option 2 in issue #478 to include an Identifier type extension on Address (to support at least DPID,G-NAF identifiers locally)
- DPID and G-NAF datatype profiles would be added
- BE: action ticket for Address identifier at international; for WGM
- Prescriber number
- Leave system namespace as is (existing implementation and ballot STU3 + ETP)
- Change naming to PBS Prescriber Number and associated datatype narative and details
- NCTS tooling is working on update to the display on referenced terminology
- See codes display when landing on the referenced Valueset/Codesystem/ConceptMap - can be done without license
- Usability - where am i? what is NCTS
- Other content/metadata - logical composition; publisher etc.
- Regular update on progress by RE
- KM : very briefly discussed - query on search for HealthcareService/Organization by phone number (Healthlink) - not natively supported by FHIR core search parameters;
- maybe custom search parameter?
- maybe international or Au scope?
- no action at this point
Follow up:
- AGENCY: Review all valueset references to NCTS make FHIR IG valuesets - priortise this to SRA scope
- JD: direct service correspondence to a nominated specific individual; HealthcareService extension
- JD: backup delivery person as PractitonerRole extension - HL7 V2 STF
- Rob Eastwood: Continue to "cleanup" the identifier datatypes now that the approach is good
- BE: put PD POC changes in a github issues and work on the changes in CI build of PD spec; review next time
- https://github.com/hl7au/au-fhir-pd/pull/2 rejected not as per spec
- BP: Chase up if existing work on AHPRA registration extensions already exists

"ISO 3166 3 letter codes can be used in place of a human readable country name." |
|
Danielle Tavares-Rixon I noticed this differs from what you were saying about 2 letter codes from CDA was it? |
|
So it seems the inconsistency is in the base spec: http://hl7.org/fhir/R4/datatypes-definitions.html#Address - ISO 3166 3 letter codes can be used in place of a human readable country name. - as you quoted, but: http://hl7.org/fhir/R4/datatypes.html#Address - Country (e.g. can be ISO 3166 2 or 3 letter code) |
|
Brian Postlethwaite something we could raise a ticket on? |
|
Jared Davison, yes it does differ. Where country is coded the MHR system and Agency CDA specifications have adopted the 2 letter codes and we expect to continue that in Agency FHIR specifications. The underlying RIM concept domain for country is bound to a HL7 universal set that includes the 2 letter codes, 3 letter codes, and numerical codes from ISO 3166. The other address parts like state do not have a binding. In some places in Agency specifications, I'm thinking here of a patient's country of birth, we have also encouraged the country name to be sent which is a misuse of the country element in CDA & V3. We don't yet have a confirmed direction on handling this element going forwards and have left it equivalently open to the FHIR address.country element - as in you can send anything meaningful. That might be too open to to be functional. |
