Notes:

  • Discussion on activities in the industry at the moment
    • Lots of activity on the MyHealthRecord FHIR interface
    • Experiencing some "difficulties" in that the store in the back is a CDA document paradigm that is exposing content
    • Risks involved in the current model (don't want the early adopters to think that the issues are FHIR and not the backing behind MyHR)
    • Provenance will be important to ensure that the data is correct
    • Security, Authentication and Authorization and profiles
  • Identifier definitions status update
    • Medicare / IHI good (implementer experience is next steps)
    • Medicare profile definition to be completed then passed back to Medicare to keep them in the feedback loop for awareness
    • DVA still needs work, and should take the same approach we did with Medicare in order to keep the awareness of what we're doing and buy-in
    • Mappings for the above should also be included for the Australian CDA (Nictiz) and HL7v2 (AS 4700.1)
    • Document which specs were referenced for the content (AS 4700.1 or the NEHTA Implementation guides)
    • Assigning Authority? Should we be populating that? To date were only expecting this to be required where can vary, such as with MRNs
    • Partitioning of the Namespaces for the seniors, pension and healthcare card needs to be reviewed and checked with the Department
    • Need to completely define the MRN identifier for exposing internal UR Numbers
  • Patient Extensions
    • Indigenous Status (looks ok) Meteor tables (602543 and 291036 both appear to cover the same concept)
    • Need mappings to the CDA documents also (is the same codeset already using the OIDs - so show the mapping) and v2 also
    • Investigate from the CDA Patient content to cross check and extract the other common properties
      • Country of birth?
      • Ethnicity? 
  • Implementation Guide Updates

  • Angus Millar chasing up on usage of nselectronichealth identifiers namespace
  • Angus Millar will chase up on the namespace on seniors concession card, pension concession card and healthcare concession card
  • Stephen Royce / Angus Millar to provide some guidance on expected base patient profile extensions (DCM as derived from base CDA template)
